Facilitator

As we work towards the transition from an informal extracurricular project to a full-time international school we are looking for exceptional adults to join our team. The facilitator role is broad, complex, evolves over time. At its most fundamental it consists of taking responsibility for creating the conditions that enable young people to thrive, individually and collectively. Applicants must be functionally bi-lingual and possess a secondary teaching qualification.

Visiting Specialist

At Banana Mountain we aim to offer young people as many opportunities as possible to develop interests, passions and skills. There is a lot we can do ourselves, but as the saying goes, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Lucky for us we live in an amazing village.

Creative Resident

CreativeResident

Residencies are open to creative practitioners of any kind. Residents are invited to live on-site for a period of one month. During this time they are welcomed into our community as temporary members and supported to produce site-specific work.

In order to meet our aim of being open to all families, we rely on the help of friends and supporters who share our pedagogical beliefs and commitments to social justice. In simple terms, what we are trying to do is hard, and we need all the help we can get. To those who have been able to offer help in one form or another, the experience has always been rewarding and enriching.
